Alain Johannes (CHL/USA)

Chilean-American multi-instrumentalist Alain Johannes will bring the magic of his music to Australia in June 2024.

A master behind the scenes, he's written for some of the worlds biggest artists including QOTSA, Chris Cornell, Eleven, PJ Harvey, Them Crooked Vultures, No Doubt and Arctic Monkeys (Just to name a very few). The list of musicians that he has worked with reads like an encyclopedia of California rock history. In high school he was in bands with Flea, Hillel Slovak, Jack Irons, all of whom would form the Red Hot Chili Peppers with mutual friend Anthony Kiedis.

Alain Johannes will perform his solo work at Altar on 19 June supported by Scholfield.
